Daily Fantasy Baseball – Wednesday Night Recap

Hi All!

Last night was a decent night. None of my teams were tip top, but i cashed in 66% of my tickets. My Fanduel lineup wasn’t so hot but over on DraftKings, my two lineups both cashed. One was the 3 day survivor and I comfortably made it to day 2. I will probably just be focusing on this lineup today as I have many things to do. Including getting ready for a bachelor party which begins tomorrow and is all weekend long in Niagara Falls. Who else is as excited as me?

Daily Fantasy Baseball – Tuesday Fanduel Lineup

I’ve had quite the busy day, so I’ll keep this baseball one short. There are a bunch of pitching options tonight and I went with the lowest cost one that I thought was putting up some solid numbers and that’s Jesse Hahn. He’s at home in San Diego.

I wanted to target some bad pitchers for my hitters to spank around, so I went back to the well with Ellsbury today, as well as Calhoun. I took some Tigers and their high prices because Noesi isn’t the best pitcher in the world and it was hard to justify taking any of the lower priced options. I’m riding some Jays as well. No Lester tonight.

If there are lineup changes I will come back to change my roster but so far so good.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Tuesday Night Recap

Hi all, last night I took a stab at a big tournament to qualify for the 3.3 million dollar Atlantis Tournament. My strategy with all my tickets is to play a tournament and then offset it with a 50/50.

I didn’t cash in the big tourney but I finished in the right half of my 50/50.

My biggest disappointment was Ellsbury and Vogt. Whenever you pay for a high priced player, he better come through and Ellsbury didn’t. If I could do it all over again, I’d still take him. When it comes to Vogt, every other guy on the team got some points last night but Vogt did nothing. Both guys were in favorable lefty/righty situations against awful pitchers. All their teammates did well. That’s the way it crumbles sometimes. I hedged myself in a way with the 50/50 and shrugged my shoulders. We’ll get’em tomorrow.

Daily Fantasy Golf – My DraftDay Picks

Over at DraftDay, salaries are skewed higher for the american players. I went into this week thinking I’m not going to touch many euro guys but the pricing on DraftDay was too enticing on some guys. Stephen Gallacher was the 4th cheapest guy on their list. He’s ranked 30th in the world. Is this a suckers pick for me? Maybe. But this allows me to get Rory and Scott on one ticket. Sign me up. Kuchar was also cheap compared to other sites. I’m liking my team on this site the best. It’s got such flare. I guess any team with Dubuisson will. I think I may take up smoking. This team looks cool on paper and I need to match them.

Daily Fantasy Golf – My Fantasy Feud Picks

I like Fantasy feud. It’s many of the same players, but I’ve been able to make decent Return On Investment there. It’s not the big guaranteed prize pools like the bigger sites, but I enjoy their different scoring system and the need to pick 10 guys over 6. Here’s my team. Delaet was much cheaper here than on Draftkings and couldn’t resist. I found the salaries here were not adjusted for horses for courses and I’ll take it.

ROSTER
POS NAME SALARY
1 Francesco Molinari $53,000
2 Angel Cabrera $74,000
3 Rory McIlroy $190,000

5 Keegan Bradley $123,000
6 Bubba Watson $109,000
7 John Senden $39,000
8 Graham DeLaet $74,000
9 Gary Woodland $53,000
10 Steve Stricker $102,000

Daily Fantasy Golf – My Teams On DraftKings

Hey all. Unlike other prognosticators who just give guys they like, i’m actually going to show you my tickets that i’m playing beforehand. These are my 5 tickets i’ll be playing at Draftkings. It was quite hard making all of my decisions. I’ve gone back and forth many times. I was looking for total driving kinda guys the most, but at the same time I didn’t want to toss the horses for the courses as well. I took value where I found it and I hope that one of my cheap guys puts in a tremendous showing. If not i’ll throw my computer and rip my TV of my wall and snap it over my knee. Here are the tickets.

Daily Fantasy Baseball – Tonight’s Lineup

Tonight I’m taking a stab at the DraftKings $200 entry for a seat at the $3.3 Million Dollar tournament in Atlantis. When I think my bankroll has hit a comfortable spot, I’ll throw caution to the wind and take a shot. Here’s my lineup. All my hitters are playing below average pitchers and I’m really high on Samardjzia. I went back and forth on a bunch of Pitchers for tonight but I ultimately landed on Shields. I’m hoping he righted the ship and against a strikeout happy club like the Twins, there could be some upside. Good Luck to all.

Daily Fantasy Golf – Bridgestone Invitational 2014 – Update 1

I’m adding another low cost player to my list because I can and it’s not even Wednesday. That guy is Chris Kirk. He’s one of the cheapest options on the board and he is ranked 7th in Fed Ex Cup points. Besides his uncharacteristic missed cut a couple of weeks back, he’s been a model of consistency and this is all from a PGA Tour rookie.  He’s played pretty well at all the majors this year, as well as the Memorial and the Players. So he’s performed well in top fields, not just the small tournaments. I’ll be using him on my tickets.
